How it Works?

Minting Mechanism​

A Kemi is created by combining base kemi with Wearables. At least one outfit needs to be applied to mint a Kemi.

  • No Failure: Unlike other processes, The Workshop eliminates the element of chance.
  • Decentralization: Kemi character image and metadata are stored on-chain, ensuring transparency and security.
  • Platform Fee for Minting: Minting a customized Kemi through The Workshop incurs a platform fee. This fee contributes to the ongoing development and maintenance of the platform.

Character Naming​

Creator have the ability to name their Kemi character, adding a personal touch to their creation. Kemi Name will further be used in Kemi.ID and Funhunt platform.

Character Rarity​

Kemi character rarity is determined by the rarity of the wearables equipped to the Base Kemi. The rarity of the Kemi character will be displayed in the Kemi information popup. There are 2 components:

  • The rarity: Is determined by the rarest wearable equipped to the Base Kemi.
  • The level: Is determined by the number of that rarity equipped to the character (including Base Kemi traits)

Combine these two components to determine the rarity of the Kemi character. alt text

Character Display Selection​

There are 3 types of display for selection:

  • Headshot
  • Portrait
  • Full Body

Users can choose which display they prefer for their Kemi character. This selection will determine how the Kemi is displayed in various sections of the UniPaws ecosystem and third-party platforms.

Burn Kemi​

Creators have the option to burn their Kemi character. Once burned, the Kemi character will be permanently removed from the blockchain. This action is irreversible, and the Kemi character cannot be recovered.

In return, the creator will be able to claim back their wearables with one caveat: If the wearable is not Paw-some, one random wearable will be burned.

Recalibrate Kemi​

If there is a need to recalibrate the Kemi character due to image processing issues or unforeseen circumstances, creators can request a recalibration. This process will attempt to re-generate the Kemi character image and metadata. Creator can access this feature by clicking on the "Recalibrate" button on the Kemi information popup.
